I’ve been watching at this TED talk in awe. Awe at the strength of the story of the 60-years-old record-breaking swimmer who decided she’d take a fourth attempt at crossing the ocean between Cuba and Florida, awe at the intensity of her gaze and awe at the compelling perseverance she’s proving.
The phrase usually is reaching for the stars, and in my case, it’s reaching for the horizon. And when you reach for the horizon, as I’ve proven, you may not get there, but what a tremendous build of character and spirit that you lay down.
